Why We’re Betting Big on a New Kind of Parent Network

Today’s parents are incredibly online — yet nowhere feels quite built for them.
Sure, we have Facebook groups, Reddit threads, group texts, and WhatsApp chats. But none of those tools were designed with parenting in mind. None offer a dedicated space to connect with other parents — to message, organize, search, or share in a way that feels natural to how we navigate parenthood today.
That’s where VISIBLE comes in.
We’re building VISIBLE on a set of clear assumptions about what parents need — not just another social network, but a new kind of utility built for parenting relationships.

Here’s why we believe the world needs it:
1. Parents Want Their Own Digital Space
Every parent is online, but there’s no central place to manage their parent life. We believe parents are looking for a network that’s not lumped into everything else — a space that’s just for them, their kids, and the other families in their lives.
2. They’ll Actually Use It — If It Works for Them
Parents are busy, but they’re also proactive. They’ll invest time in building a network if it helps them keep track of school contacts, set up playdates, or plan birthdays. We’ve seen that when the value is immediate and the tool is easy, parents show up.
3. Trusting Other Parents Matters More Than Ever
Google is great — but parents want to know what other parents are doing. Whether it's choosing a pediatrician or deciding on swim lessons, they trust advice from people who share their values and local experience. VISIBLE makes that advice easier to find and act on.
4. Privacy Is a Deal Breaker
We hear it constantly: “I don’t want to post in a giant Facebook group.” Parents want to connect in a space that’s safe, verified, and not overrun by strangers. That’s why VISIBLE is built as a parent-only network with real profiles and built-in trust signals.
5. Parenting Is an Identity That Deserves Its Own Network
Just like professionals have LinkedIn, parents deserve a space that reflects this major part of their identity. The conversations we have as parents are different — so the tools we use should be too.
6. We’re Replacing a Patchwork of Tools
Parents juggle group texts, email threads, class directories, and shared Google Sheets. We believe VISIBLE can replace that scattered experience with simple messaging, organized contacts, and profile-based discovery — all in one place.
7. Search Matters
Want to find a parent in your city whose kid goes to the same daycare? Or a mom with twins and a favorite speech therapist? VISIBLE makes that kind of search possible, and that’s what makes it powerful.
8. This Can Scale Without Selling Out
We’re building VISIBLE to grow sustainably — not through invasive ads, but through optional premium features and partnerships that serve parents first. The experience always comes first.
The Bottom Line
Parents are already doing the work — organizing group chats, posting in forums, asking around for advice. But the tools they’re using weren’t designed for it.
VISIBLE is.
We believe the time is right to give parents a platform that respects their time, their trust, and the role they play in their kids’ lives. And we’re excited to see what happens when that network finally exists.
