What it means to be someone's 1st, 2nd, or 3rd connection on VISIBLE

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd icons next to people's names on VISIBLE indicate the degree of connection between you and that person.

• 1st-degree connections are people you are directly connected to. This means that you have accepted their invitation to connect, or they have accepted your invitation. You can see their full profile, send them messages, and see their posts in your feed.

• 2nd-degree connections are people who are connected to your 1st-degree connections. This means that you don't have a direct connection with them, but you do have a connection in common.

• 3rd-degree connections are people who are connected to your 2nd-degree connections. This means that you don't have a direct connection with them, and you don't have any connections in common.

Out of Network – VISIBLE members who fall outside of the categories listed above.
